The RP8 Is an active, bi-amped monitor with 70 Watts for the woofer, 20 Watts for the tweeter, and an integrated 2.4 KHz electronic crossover. Unlike passive monitors, KRK specially matches the power section, electronics, and output drivers for streamlined performance. You can be sure all frequencies from 45 Hz to 20 kHz are sent to the most capable speaker, with enough power to provide plenty of volume without distortion.
